Hustings – Glasgow East Constituency

Hustings- Monday 13th April 1930-2100, Broomhouse Community Hall, Broomhouse Park

On the back of a very successful Yes/No debate last September between Mr John Mason and Mrs Margaret Curran, Broomhouse Community Council now invite you to our local Hustings. This will be a formal debate between all confirmed candidates for the Glasgow East constituency- Mr Andrew Morrison (Conservatives), Ms Natalie McGarry (SNP), Mr Liam McLaughlin (SSP), Mrs Margaret Curran (Labour), Mr Gary Mclelland (Liberal Democrats), Ms Kim Long (Greens) and Mr Arthur Thackeray (UKIP).

We hope to see as many local residents along at the Hustings in the hope that it will be dynamic, meaningful, informative and interesting!

Thanks

Broomhouse Kids Xmas Party 2014

Apologies for the delay but we have been very busy so have just been able to upload the pictures and videos from the recent Kids Xmas Party 2014.

The day was a resounding success and we’d like to thank all of the children and parents who came along.

We’d also like to especially thank the Mailcoach who hosted our party and provided the function room free or charge and Pat Doogan who provided the wonderful entertainment on the day.

We’d also like to thank our members and office bearers who gave up their free time to organise the event.

Apologies to all of those families who didn’t get a place on the day but due to health and safety reasons our numbers are limited.

We are already planning next years events and it’s been suggested that we may have two parties to cater for the high demand.

We wish all of our residents a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year !
