Scottish Government Planning Review Consultation

On the 10th January 2017, Kevin Stewart MSP, Minister for Local Government and Housing, launched “Places, people and planning: a consultation on the future of planning in Scotland.”  The consultation paper is available to view online at:   Associated research has been published alongside it.  The updated participation statement is also now available.

Responses to the consultation should be submitted to Planning and Architecture Division of the Scottish Government by 5pm on Tuesday 4 April 2017.

The consultation paper “Places, people and planning” sets out 20 proposals for change which aim to strengthen the planning system.   The Scottish Government are keen to hear all stakeholders’ views, therefore would be grateful if you could help to raise awareness of the consultation and to encourage your community council to respond.
